I dread when it’s time to take off my make up! I love putting it on but taking it off…that’s an entirely different subject. Therefore, I bring you the lazy girls’ way of skincare.
Get it off!! Any makeup remover will do. I use Target’s eye make up remover to get off the 12 layers of makeup laying on my skin, attempting to make me look alive. After that, I use Simple’s Micellar Cleansing Water. That stuff feels good, it's inexpensive and lasts forever!
To wash my face I normally grab for whatever samples I have laying around from my Ipsy Glam bag LOL. My all-time favorite product to use is Soap and Glory’s Vitamin C facial wash. It doesn’t dry my skin out. When you are lazy like me, you can’t make extra steps for yourself by using a product that makes you work harder.
With both of these steps, normally I still have remnants of my liquid lipstick on. I use Janel Cosmetics Mermaid Scales Lip Scrub to really get in there. Again, It doesn’t dry out my lips. That’s counterproductive to what I’m trying to accomplish, which is getting in the bed and going to sleep.
Now that we are all clean, time to moisturize the face. Sometimes I use a beauty oil or serum like the Mermaid Facial Elixir and sometimes I don’t. Ok, so about 80% of the time I don’t! You better not judge me, you knew what you were getting from the title! Again, I grab for whatever facial lotion I have from Ipsy. What I’ve been using the past few days is the Skyn Iceland Cooling Daily Lotion. This product is addictive. It’s designed for stressed skin, yeah girl, I got that.
After I put on my lotion, I spray on Mario Badescu’s Facial Spray with Rosewater. The last touch is my Carmax before I lay my head on my pillow. That’s right I said Carmax. It’s the OG that never fells me.
If you want to get fancy…
You can add a face mask or scrub to your routine. I have like 12 just sitting on my vanity that I have yet to use. Each one does something different so If you are trying to correct a certain skin concern, this would be something good to add regularly.
Do you have a skincare routine? If not, this can serve as a good base to start with. Let us know how it goes!
